IJAMH provides a dedicated platform for the publication of high-quality original research articles, review articles, short communications, and clinical articles/case reports, focusing on the application of Ayurvedic principles in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of mental health disorders and psychological well-being.

AIM AND SCOPE

IJAMH serves as a scholarly forum for scholars, researchers, clinicians, and practitioners to disseminate their findings, insights, and advancements in the specialized area of Ayurvedic medicine and mental health. The journal aims to bridge the gap between traditional Ayurvedic wisdom and modern mental health care practices, promoting interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration among experts in Ayurveda, psychology, psychiatry, neuroscience, and related fields.

The scope of IJAMH encompasses a wide range of topics related to Ayurvedic medicine and mental health, including but not limited to:

1. Application of Ayurvedic principles, concepts, and therapies in the management of mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and neurodevelopmental disorders.

2. Exploration of Ayurvedic diagnostic methods, including pulse diagnosis (Nadi Pariksha), and their relevance in assessing mental health conditions.

3. Herbal formulations, dietary interventions, lifestyle modifications, and Panchakarma therapies for promoting mental well-being and managing psychosomatic disorders.

4. Integration of Ayurvedic approaches with modern psychotherapy techniques, mindfulness-based interventions, and complementary therapies in mental health care.

5. Ayurvedic perspectives on the mind-body connection, stress management, resilience-building, and holistic approaches to mental health promotion.

6. Research on the neurobiological mechanisms underlying Ayurvedic interventions for mental health, including studies on neuropharmacology, neuroimaging, and psychoneuroimmunology.

7. Clinical case reports and observational studies illustrating the efficacy and safety of Ayurvedic interventions in addressing mental health challenges across diverse populations.

8. Ethical considerations, cultural implications, and policy perspectives related to the integration of Ayurvedic medicine into mental health care systems.

Through its rigorous peer-review process, IJAMH aims to publish evidence-based research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge and practices in Ayurvedic medicine and mental health. Authors are encouraged to submit their contributions to IJAMH to facilitate the dissemination of valuable insights and promote holistic approaches to mental health care grounded in the principles of Ayurveda.
